This painting was produced in January 2023 with singer/cellist Lenna Pierce. We improvised as I painted blindfolded in three 30 minute sessions in The Blue Building, Midtown, Manhattan.

On the other side of the canvas is a painting I made in 2016 at Bill Young's Dance studio, Soho, Manhattan and at Dock Studios in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. For the top layer I painted with oil sticks as I cartwheeled across the canvas in the dance studio at night. I had permission to paint there from 10pm - 10am when there were no classes or rehearsals. I produced a huge body of paintings during that time, often in collaboration with musicians and dancers.
