Various approaches to drawing, working with sound, machines and computer technologies are central elements to Claire Zakiewicz's work. She often uses resin to layer her work and embed materials, paintings and drawings giving her pieces physicality and depth.

She works with her audio, visual and written diaries and draws memory maps onto prints and paintings to build up layers and dimensions.

Frequently working with musicians to produce visual responses to sonic work. Claire Zakiewicz also plays the saxophone, DJs, is currently working on producing musical pieces.
