COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS

Fig. began in 2008 with composer and vocalist Alwynne Pritchard, sound designer Thorolf Thuestad and visual artist Claire Zakiewicz.
Fig. has performed in New York, Bergen and London and is currently working on forthcoming projects.

During 2011 Zakiewicz worked with composer and percussionist Kuljit Bhamra. They produced material for animated drawings using recordings of drawing implements onto drum.

In 2007 she worked with Artist Parasol, a group of 5 visual artists who co--curated two shows; Garage Art Debut Show and Lie of the Land

Between 2005 and 2007 she was a member of Terrace, an artist-run studio and gallery in London. Zakiewicz had a solo show in the gallery space and showed work in a number of group shows there. She also co-curated the gallery space while working at Terrace.

In 2004 Zakiewicz worked with Gillian Murdoch curating Summer Art Auction in
291 Gallery, 291 Hackney Road, London E2

In 2002 she worked with Natalie Warren and the 491 Gallery to curate and show work in two exhibitions as part of Festival of Flight.

In 2001 she curated a group show at the Red Gate Gallery, 209 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London
There were nine visual artists in the show including Sterenn Denys, Dexter Mohammad, Vishal Shah, Andrew Zakiewicz, Claire Zakiewicz and Neil Zakiewicz
